Update: The map data was split up into the 7 different Police Districts to help with loading times - enjoy!
Update #2: Thanks to DCist for the link!
Update #3: Well, I'm not a big fan of advertising, but I am in the market for a new job in the DC area! If you enjoy my work and have a need for a talented computer scientist, shoot me an email at gpliving (at) gmail.com. Thank you!

Great idea. Where do you get your data? We might be interested in doing something similar for our PSA (307).
jennifer: Crime data is courtesy of Crimereports.com (cited at the bottom of the map). If you select PSA 3 from the dropdown box above the map, you can see markers for PSA 307 too.
All: We just enabled anonymous comments.
Found a bug: When two crimes occur on the same block, only the later crime is mapped. This doesn't occur too frequently and we will fix this soon!
Looks great.
You're confusing PSAs with police districts. The seven districts are each split into 5-10 PSAs.
Anon: Oops - thanks. We will correct that.
This is awesome. Will you be able to automatically update?
Yes - update is coming today!
